Agent Ping tells you when a coding session on your computer (Claude Code, Codex or another command) finishes, needs you, or fails. This page lists what it collects to do that. We don't sell data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time code and to send alerts by email.
- Your computers: the name you give each one (its hostname by default), its operating system, when it last checked in, and an anonymous hardware fingerprint so signing in again reuses the same computer.
- Alerts: the tool, whether the session finished, needs you or failed, the session's title or
the start of its first prompt, the project folder name, what it's waiting on (the question it asks, or up to 200
characters of the command it wants to run), which app and tab it ran in, a link back to the session, and any note you
add. The CLI removes common secrets from that text before sending it, but can't catch everything. We don't collect
your code or full conversations. To send neither the title nor what it's waiting on, run
agentping config set alert-details off. - Your phone: a push notification token and the phone's name, so alerts reach it.
How long we keep it
Alerts are deleted after 24 hours on the free plan and 30 days on Pro. Alerts you archive are deleted 7 days after you archive them. Account details stay until you delete your account.
Who processes it
Agent Ping runs on Supabase (database and sign-in, hosted in the EU) and Cloudflare (servers and email). Push notifications go through Expo and Apple or Google. They process data only to provide those services.
Deleting your data
In the app, open Settings → Delete account. This deletes your account, disconnects your computers and deletes your alerts and settings at once. You can also remove a single computer in Settings, or email us to delete your account.
